‘Better Call Saul’ Teaser Touts February Premiere

Better Call Saul” has already perfected the art of the tease, with the first footage from the hotly anticipated “Breaking Bad” spinoff lasting a svelte eight seconds in AMC’s newly released promo.

Aside from the shocking revelation that Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) had more hair when he was younger, the teaser also revealed that the show will premiere in February, meaning we only have six months to wait before the crooked legal eagle returns to our screens.

“Better Call Saul” has already been renewed for a second season ahead of its series debut.

At AMC’s Television Critics Assn. press tour panel, producer Vince Gilligan confirmed that the show is a prequel that will take place in 2002, but added, “you saw on ‘Breaking Bad’ that we like nonlinear storytelling.”
