  1. Christina says:

Ashley should hope for supporting maternal roles because nobody will watch to see her as the main character anymore. She’s doesn’t have the draw anymore.

  2. Diana says:

The fact that Ashley Judd is staring in this is reason enough not to watch, but even if she were replaced with someone who has some acting skills – the show sounds like a pathetic attempt for NBC to make fun of Middle America. NBC shouldn’t be making fun of anyone with the crap they’re putting out these days.

  3. Poor Ashley Judd – how many times is the entertainment world going to make her prove that she has already risen to her level of incompetence? Sheesh, 2004’s “Twisted” – worst reviewed movie of the entire year – wasn’t that proof enough? If not, how about all those indie films that nobody saw? Flypaper grossed less than $3000 TOTAL. Or the forgettable “anybody could play that” supporting girlfriend/wife/mother roles in formula big-budget movies. Or her craptastic TV series “Missing” that was canceled after one season. Slow learners, much?

  4. Ted says:

Thanks VARIETY for letting us know what NOT TO WATCH!!!!!! Judd and MISSING were just boring, and the scenery was the only thing that kept the show running for as long as it did.

  5. People keep giving Ashley Judd work even though she can’t put butts in theater seats and her last series was canceled after just 10 episodes, so she can’t even put butts on couches apparently!

  6. J.E. Vizzusi says:

Ashley should of won Best Actress for Ruby in Paradise her first major role. It was unbelievable for a film that won Canne and then became forgotton. Its her finest performance. If she never worked again.. this is the one. Find it.. screen it, unforgettable!
Glad to see her talent back in major role… JEV

  7. Maliikm says:

Didn’t her last show get cancelled, as well as Awake? I don’t think the following is doing to great either. I guess time will tell.

  8. Vickie Blackwell says:

I hope she covers her breast

  9. JRH says:

Is the pilot for ABC or NBC? The first paragraph (and tag) says ABC, but headline says NBC and says it’s being produced by Universal Television…

  10. Jeff says:

I bet this one is not going to film in Los Angeles either!
    Runaway production is evil!
