Lentz will be the Los Angeles counterpart to Marco Bresaz, who switched to the network from sibling cabler Sundance Channel in December and who is based in New York. Both report to Eliot Goldberg, the network’s senior vice president of unscripted programming. Lentz will oversee Andrea Beckerman, director of unscripted programming, and Joshua Miller, manager of unscripted programming.
“Tracey is that rare executive with true hands-on experience as both a producer and a network executive. With her impressive development and production background,
I know she will be a tremendous addition to our growing programming team as we continue to build our unscripted slate,” Goldberg said.
At Eyeworks, Lentz was instrumental in the development and sale of shows including ABC’s “Celebrity Splash” Spike’s “Catch a Contractor” and “Hungry Investors,” Oxygen’s “My Big Fat Revenge,” TBS’ “Funniest Wins,” Nat Geo’s “Remote Survivor” and Syfy’s “Opposite Worlds.” Before Eyeworks, she was a network executive and held creative positions at Current TV, ABC Media Productions, TLC, GSN/Game Show Network and Showtime Networks.
