An “American Horror Story” alum is headed to “The Walking Dead.”

Alexandra Breckenridge has joined the cast of the zombie hit, reps for the show confirmed on Wednesday. Unsurprisingly, details of the character are being kept secret. She is listed as Samantha on the casting breakdown, and described as an attractive, smart, charming and articulate woman with a vulnerable side. She’s also an artist and a mother.

However, it’s not unusual for “Walking Dead” producers to use fake names for the characters to disguise who they really are. There is no character named Samantha in the comicbooks on which the series is based or the videogames.

Breckenridge, whose credits also include “Family Guy” and “Save Me,” tweeted about the news on Wednesday.

“The Walking Dead” has also added “Go On” and “Everybody Hates Chris” alum Tyler James Williams to the cast in season five as a character named Noah. While there’s no Noah in the comicbooks, there is a Noah Cruz in the prequel videogame “The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.”

Other new faces joining the cast in season five include Andrew J. West, Seth Gilliam, Alanna Masterson and Christian Serratos. AMC’s undead horror drama shattered ratings records when it returned Oct. 12 and has already been renewed for season six.

Breckenridge is repped by Gersh, Mosaic and attorney Joel McKuin.
