Fox’s former director of drama programming Caitlin Foito has joined ABC Studios as vice president of drama development.
She will report to senior VP of drama development Nne Ebong.
Foito spent three seasons at Fox, working to develop shows including “The Following,” “Almost Human” and “Rake.”
Before joining the network, Foito was director of programming at Fox Television Studios, where she worked on programs such as “The Gates” for ABC, “Lights Out” for FX and the pilot “Outlaw Country” for FX. She also worked on various projects in development, including Web-based series.
Foito began her career as a researcher for documentarian Peggy Case for “American Experience” and PBS. She also worked at Microsoft Studios, the Washington State Film Office, the Seattle Arts Commission, Jodi Rothfield Casting Associates, and Miramax/Dimension films. Before joining Fox, Foito worked as an assistant at CAA in the motion picture talent department.
