20th Century Fox TV Ups Jeffrey Glaser to Exec Veep, Current Programming

Following a reorganization of its executive ranks last week, 20th Century Fox Television has promoted Jeffrey Glaser to exec vice prez of current programming, the studio announced today.

Glaser will report to 20th TV’s newly appointed prez of creative affairs, Jonathan Davis.

Glaser receives the promotion after over a decade serving as senior veep of current programming. During his tenure as senior v.p., Glaser oversaw series maintenance on 20th TV programs including “Modern Family,” “Glee,” “New Girl,” “The X-Files,” and “Ally McBeal,” among others.

“Jeffrey has led our current programming team for many years, and has done a spectacular job keeping our shows creatively strong and vibrant, helping to earn them well-deserved renewals year after year,” said Davis. “We couldn’t be happier to reward him with this promotion which recognizes both his significant contribution and the importance of his area to the overall success of the studio.”

    Congratulations Jeff! It’s not every day that a company brings a trooper up from their own ranks hold the rudder. The shows whose brands he kept going are stellar. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy.
