She will report to Chris Alexander, SVP of corporate communications and publicity.
“Getting Jen for this important role at the studio was a real coup, as her background runs the gamut from editorial and publicity to talent relations and events,” remarked Alexander. “She’s creative, entrepreneurial and enormously collaborative, quite simply the perfect person for this position.”
With the announcement also came word that the studio was promoting Jennifer Carreras to vice president of comedy development and Mandy Summers to vice president of current programming. Carreras, who recently served as director of comedy development, reports to Michael Thorn, EVP of development. Summers, who was executive director of current programming, reports to Jeffrey Glaser, EVP of current programming.
“Jennifer is a smart, talented executive who producers love, and her rise here has been deservedly swift,” commented Thorn. “She is great with writers, has amazing taste and a tireless work ethic when it comes to championing projects she believes in.”
Glaser had similar sentiments about Summers.
“Mandy is a fantastic creative executive who has more than earned the trust and respect of our executive producers,” said Glaser. “I value her tremendously and am happy to reward her with this promotion.”
