LONDON — Former Sky drama script executive Jo Roderick has joined Duchess Street Prods. as development producer.

She will be responsible for developing and providing editorial guidance on slated projects, as well as generating original ideas and IP for various broadcasters and platforms, including an original idea that is in development with Sky One.

In addition to this, Roderick will be overseeing the development of Duchess Street drama series, including “The Clifton Chronicles,” an adaptation of Jeffrey Archer’s series of historical novels. She joins screenwriter and film producer David Pirie, who was recently appointed as lead writer and show-runner for the series.

While working for Sky, Roderick was a script executive on projects for a range of drama indies, including Left Bank, Mammoth and Eleven Films.

Prior to her role at Sky, Roderick held the positions of drama development producer at Lola Entertainment, script producer for “Hollyoaks Later,” script editor for “Spooks” and “Holby City,” and senior story editor for “The Bill” at TalkbackThamesTV.

Wiffen, managing director, Duchess Street, said: “Our company’s focus is on producing high-end, original drama and dramatic adaptations, and Jo brings with her a wealth of experience in this field, which will be instrumental in guiding and expanding our future catalog.”

Duchess Street, launched earlier this year, is a division of Bob & Co.
