Your Day, Your City Project Invites Video Submissions on L.A., New York and More

Your Day. Your City. Your Future.

As a follow-up to the award-winning “One Day on Earth” global media project, founder and director Kyle Ruddick is set to debut “Your Day. Your City. Your Future.” on April 26. The 24-hour filmmaking initiative invites urban dwellers to create video submissions that document the happenings in 11 U.S. cities.

“This idea of the future of the city is really … ingrained with the future of humanity in a lot of ways,” Ruddick says.

Ruddick expects to receive hundreds of Vimeo submissions for each city, and producers are working with local PBS affiliates and public broadcasters to create a TV series surrounding the footage.

Cities participating are Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Denver, Los Angeles, Lower Rio Grande Valley, Texas; Minneapolis-St.Paul, New Orleans, New York, San Diego and San Francisco.
