Epiphany Hotel Draws Silicon Valley Crowd

Epiphany Hotel Silicon Valley

Silicon Valley’s newest hotel, the Epiphany, by Joie de Vivre (proprietors of Big Sur’s Ventana Inn), opened this spring in downtown Palo Alto, Calif. The property’s aesthetic borrows on the entrepreneurial spirit of the surrounding area, featuring technologically equipped mini-offices located throughout the hotel, complete with dry-erase boards. Guests have included Mark Zuckerberg, Yahoo’s Marissa Mayer and rapper Drake.

Eat: Restaurant Lure + Till serves innovative Northern California cuisine created by executive chef Patrick Kelly. The menu includes organic farm-raised chicken, as well as pasta dishes like fire-roasted farro risotto. There’s 24-hour room service for hotel guests, including house-made cheeses, preserves and pastas.

Drink: The “Bright Idea,” made with La Vida Mezcal, prickly pear, absinthe, lemon and agave nectar; and the “Peninsula Punch,” with Kappa Pisco, lemon, pineapple and a basil leaf, will get your creative juices flowing.

Go: 180 Hamilton Ave., Palo Alto, CA
