Cannes’ Thierry Fremaux to Receive Korean Honor

Services to Korean cinema recognized.

Thierry Fremaux, the Cannes festival’s director general, will tonight (Sunday, May 18) be awarded with the “Order of Culture Merit, Eun-Gwan Medal” by the South Korean government.

He is being honored “in recognition of his contributions to the development of Korea’s film industry and the elevation of its international standing.”

The medal will be presented by Kim Dong-ho, the former Busan festival boss who now heads Korea’s Presidential Committee for Cultural Enrichment, at the Korean Film Night party in Cannes.

    When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment
    is added I get three emmails with the same comment.
    Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
