Stir Market: A Modern Food Hall for Mid-City L.A.

Stir Market: Modern Food Hall Mid-City

Every neighborhood needs a place for morning coffee and a croissant, a lunchtime burger or dinner-to-go with a wide selection of proteins and sides. Stir Market took over the Buddha’s Belly space, retaining the patio and small parking lot, and adding clean marble counters and rustic wood seating. The French rotisserie oven roasts up chickens, porchetta and other natural meats to eat in or take out.

Handy for CBS and WGA denizens, the modern food-hall includes an espresso bar, artisan bakery, salad and entree station, wine and craft-beer bar and gourmet marketplace. Open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., this versatile spot is likely to be as packed as nearby Joan’s on Third. In a neighborhood that welcomes new brunch spots, Stir Market offers intriguing choices like Moroccan Baked Eggs and Meyer Lemon Pancakes with maple whipped creme fraiche.

Eat: avocado toast; farm egg sandwich BLT; porchetta sandwich; crispy pig’s tails

Drink (all on tap): Acrobat rosé of pinot noir; Modern Times Amber ale; Intelligentsia Black Cat cold brew

Go: 7475 Beverly Blvd,. Los Angeles 90036
