Hakkasan in Beverly Hills Gets a Glam Blue Makeover

Hakkasan Beverly Hills Makeover

On the same block as MGM Studios and Imagine Entertainment, glamorous Cantonese restaurant Hakkasan started in London, went supersized with a nightclub and restaurant in Vegas and landed last year in Beverly Hills. A lavish tasting menu available until Oct. 12 celebrates the renovation and the Chinese Golden Week holiday.

Eat: Crispy duck salad, dim sum platter, grilled seabass with Chinese honey

Drink: Bitter Fortune, with gin, Aperol, rhubarb, grapefruit; Kumquatcha with cachaca, sake, Campari, kumquats, ginger ale, orange juice.

Go: 233 N. Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills

  1. Frans says:

The blue light has been there from day one. The bar area was expanded, but two other significant changes were the swap out of the white metal screens along the shopfront to dark solid wooden ones, and a remodel of the entry with the introduction of the Iconic Hakkasan slate wall with red candles and hand carved wooden panels on the back.

The blue just seems more intense because there is less light coming in from outside!
