Randy Newman has joined the ranks of composers at William Morris Endeavor after many years as a client of the Gorfaine-Schwartz Agency, Variety has learned.

Newman is a two-time Oscar winner, six-time Grammy winner and three-time Emmy winner, and is widely considered one of the best pop songwriters of the past half-century.

WME will rep Newman in all areas except for touring; Paradigm continues to handle that aspect of his career. Amos Newman, Randy’s son, runs WME’s Music for Visual Media Department and effectively becomes his father’s agent. WME declined to comment.

Newman’s films include “The Natural,” “Parenthood,” “Avalon,” “Meet the Parents” and several Disney-Pixar films including all three “Toy Story” films as well as “A Bug’s Life,” “Monsters Inc.” and “Cars.”

His classic pop tunes include “Mama Told Me Not to Come,” “Short People” and “I Love L.A.”
