Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett have announced the release date for “Cheek to Cheek,” their long-awaited collaborative jazz album. The collaboration, consisting of covers of jazz standards, will be released by Interscope Records on Sept. 23.

Lady Gaga and Bennett made the announcement Tuesday on “Today.” On the show, Bennett discussed the experience of recording live with Lady Gaga and a studio band.

“She sings so wonderfully,” Bennett remarked of the songstress. “And she’s really actually a great jazz singer. She improvises every time we do a song. We do it over and over, it’s different every time.”

This is not the first time the two pop singers have collaborated. They first covered the musical number “The Lady Is a Tramp” for Bennett’s 2011 album “Duets II.” The album won Bennett two Grammy Awards, including best traditional pop vocal album.

In addition to the announcement, Bennett and Lady Gaga also released the video for the album’s first single, a cover of Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes.” Watch the video below.
