Rita Wilson has signed on to the cast of “Fish in the Dark,” the new Broadway play written by and starring Larry David.
Wilson, who’s previously appeared on Broadway in “Chicago,” joins a handful of actors — Ben Shenkman (“Royal Pains”), Marylouise Burke, Lewis J. Stadlen, Jenn Lyon and Molly Ranson — coming aboard the spring production. They fill out an ensemble that already includes Rosie Perez and Jayne Houdyshell, among others.
Anna D. Shapiro (“August: Osage County,” “Of Mice and Men,” “This Is Our Youth”) directs the new comedy about a death in the family.
“Fish in the Dark” begins previews Feb. 2 ahead of a March 5 opening night.
