Hmmm, perhaps I will finally be able to enjoy this play. Or, as will still be most likely, I’ll want Hamlet to die before the end of the First Act. (Sorry Benedict!!) Regardless, I’ll still go see it. He is an amazing and very versatile actor, so I am curious to see what he could do to the character.

Also note, that he now plays Hamlet after Star Trek, as did Patrick Stewart. I wonder what it is about Star Trek, that leads one to want to play Hamlet!!

Ben is born to play Hamlet. Just look at him!

i agree with sasha…if it comes to broadway, i’m there…i have been enjoying benedict cumberbatch for awhile now, even before his brilliant turn in ‘sherlock’, and to see him live will be on a par with seeing patrick stewart’s one-man production of “a christmas carol”, which, as you can imagine, was absolutely stunning…

Is the production of “Hamlet” with Cumberbatch ever going to come to Broadway? I am very interested in seeing it!
