‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Gets Second Trailer (VIDEO)

Fox has released a second trailer for “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” four months after the first.

The Marvel saga, directed by Bryan Singer, centers on Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine attempting to change history by being sent into the past as two generations of mutants find themselves taking on multiple challenges, such as robotic Sentinels.

Patrick Stewart (who narrates the trailer), Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Peter Dinklage, Jennifer Lawrence and Halle Berry also star.

“Mutants — we now find ourselves on the edge of extinction,” Stewart’s Charles Xavier character somberly intones.

Fox opens the film in the U.S. on May 23.
