Watch: ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Teaser Trailer Unites X-Men Classes

Xmen days of future past

One week before releasing a second full-length theatrical trailer, 20th Century Fox has posted another Instagram teaser video for “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

The clip — part of the studio’s unconventional online marketing blitz — introduces nine characters (both old and new) in nine boxes presented like the Bradys in “The Brady Bunch” opening sequence. As the film title suggests, the upcoming release will feature several iterations of the mutant team, bringing the present-day X-Men trilogy and the “X-Men: First Class” casts together at last.

Although director Bryan Singer has kept plot details under wraps, the first full trailer revealed that the film is at least partially set in the 1970s and includes former President Richard Nixon in a key role.

Because the movie spans time and space, it also takes place in the dystopian future where the super-powered are being ruthlessly killed by robot Sentinels. The founder of the Sentinel program is played by “Game of Thrones'” Peter Dinklage — the spitting image of “Anchorman”s Ron Burgundy in the Instagram still.

“Days of Future Past” opens nationwide on May 23.

I highly disagree with you. Just say you’re not a comic book fan..and leave it at that.
