Watch: Daniel Radcliffe Deals With Elusive Love in ‘What If’ Trailer

Daniel Radcliffe takes on the intricacies of romantic love in CBS Films’ trailer for “What If,” debuting two months before the Aug. 1 release.

CBS Films had acquired the romantic comedy at Toronto last year when it was titled “The F Word,” paying $2.5 million for the U.S. rights.

Directed by Michael Dowse (“Goon”), “What If” stars Radcliffe as a medical school dropout and romantic who meets an animator, played by Zoe Kazan. The relationship clicks, despite the fact that she is already living with her boyfriend.

Adam Driver plays the best friend to Radcliffe’s character and declares at the top of the trailer, “I just had sex and I’m about to eat nachos; it’s the greatest moment of my life.”

Variety’s Justin Chang gave the movie a strong review at Toronto when it was still titled “The F Word,” calling the lead performances “sparkling.”
