Watch: New U.K. Trailer for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

Marvel has released the new U.K. trailer for its upcoming superhero film “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

The latest in the line of Marvel comics adapted for the big screen, “Guardians of the Galaxy” follows an odd group of heroes as they fight to save the world.

While the new trailer doesn’t add much detail of the movie’s plot, it certainly sets up the seemingly unlikely team – the Guardians of the Galaxy – and their great responsibility, with all of the action and adventure that can be expected from a superhero pic.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” premieres July 31st.

They are NOT trying to save the world. In fact it is entirely probable that after Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill is taken from Earth as a little kid, the film never returns until to post credit scene.

  2. chello says:

I don’t recall Rocket Racoon being American… and it seems so serious, while having too much of a “Thor” feel to it… No real huge concerns as long as they stick to the script.

    • therealeverton says:

Not sure about the Thor reference, but given that Thor is much more popular outside America than in it, that’s probably a smart move if true.

With two very funny trailers released so far, a more serious one that gives us a little more meat and a better idea of why we should go other than for some laughs, is not a bad idea at all.. All the more so given Prett remains all but unknown to the wider public here, as does Bautista.

  3. big daddy D says:

They sucked all the humor oyt of this trailer. It doesn’t need to be the Avengers. People are going to be disappointed in the U.K.. based on this.

    • therealeverton says:

After 2 trailers with almost nothing but humour , one that let’s us know this is NOT a comedy, but a film with a serious set of plot lines linked to at least 2 previous and 1 future MArvel Studios films, WITH some humour in it, is hardly a problem.

  4. Robert Hayes says:

Not much of a comic book reader (at all), but I do enjoy Marvel’s comic book movies. So far, I like the way this movie is looking.

  5. I want to hate this movie because these are not the true Guardians of the Galaxy, but all these previews are making it very rough on me.
