WATCH: Tom Cruise Caught in Time Loop in ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ Teaser Trailer

In the spirit of releasing teasers leading up to trailer releases, Warner Bros. has unveiled the latest clip for “Edge of Tomorrow.”

A 20-second preview for Doug Liman’s upcoming sci-fi actioner finds Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, who play soldiers, living their own Groundhog Day. Cruise’s character dies in battle against alien forces, but wakes up alive only to re-live the same fateful day over and over again.

Cruise hopes to capitalize on the curse by gaining experience as a fighter in the hopes of saving his life. Only then will he break the time loop.

The movie, adapted from Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s novel “All You Need Is Kill,” hits theaters on June 6. The second full trailer will be released on Tuesday.

Looks like its going to be good…nothing original…but looks good..tired of hearing that its another “Ground hog day” movie..ummm “Ground Hog Day” wasnt something new ive seen a “Twilight Zone”episode(Original) where some guy kept reliving his “Trial” over and over again.and also I think They did something simular on X-files t.v show, people getting stuck in a time loop isnt an original concept.
