Watch the First Trailer for ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’

Dimension Films has released the first trailer for “Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame To Kill For,” nine years after the surprise success of the original “Sin City.”

The trailer promises plenty of noir violence in the same monochrome color scheme in “Dame,”  co-directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller from Miller’s screenplay.

The massive cast includes Josh Brolin, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Jamie Chung, Bruce Willis, Eva Green, Julia Garner, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple, Jeremy Piven and Stacey Keach as the chief villain.

Dimension opens the sequel on Aug. 22.
