  1. Derek Olson says:

Why do the people always need a hero, or in this case “heroes?” C’mon, what bunch of sheep. These people need to start taking responsibility for themselves and stop relying on mutants/superheroes to inspire them to clean up their act. We all know just one superhero, or in this case four, can’t single-handedly clean up these gritty realistic milieus inspired by campy comic book properties, but if one appears, suddenly the great unwashed, morally corrupt, huddling cowards finally get their act together and rally behind them against the terrorizing forces that conveniently appear in whichever faux-new york they happen to live in. Without Bat/Spider/Super/X-man, ninja turtles, or transforming trucks, the average sniveling ignoramus who inhabits these fictional worlds would just suck it up and take whatever hand is dealt to them.
