Watch the New Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’

Warner Bros. and Paramount have released the first full-length trailer for Christopher Nolan’s latest sci-fi epic “Interstellar” set for release this November.

Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain star in the film.

Plot details are still vague other than that it follows a group of astronauts charged with the task of traveling in space in order to find way to grow crops back on earth, which for some reason has run out of food.

Meh… Some dumb premises. For example, the entire solar system is composed of things we can use productively. Need to see what exactly has happened to the food supply that going to interstellar space can fix it. I’m sure it won’t be a twisted, convoluted mess of illogic.

  2. This is it?? The trailer makes the film look like a Speilberg knock-off.

Let me guess – McConaughey is a widower and a dad with issues. Marion Cotillard will be bad in some way. As soon as the ‘space’ scenes starts – the dialogue will be exposition.

One of these days we’ll get a perfect astronomy film – Interstellar isn’t it.

That I’m only allowed to ‘share’ my message on social media – that’s so fucked up!

  3. moebius22 says:

The message is so heavy handed that it slaps you in the face in the trailer.

This the only movie to matter about this year as other films can be watched on home entertainment. This is the only film with a genuine excuse to go to an IMAX cinema. Last film to capture the imagination was 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY.

When does the baseball player come out of the corn field?

  6. Zod says:

Matthew McConaughey is an awful actor. Sick of that knobgobbling dooshbag texan getting accolades for poor work. Nolan should have cast Jack Nicholson or James Earl Jones or Sean Connery as the protagonist, would have been captivation station. Anne Hathaway ruined Batman also, bitch

    • Lucy in the sky with diamonds says:

We are all glad Zog is obviously neither a casting director nor any other kind of director. He is a dolt. The two aforementioned Oscar winning actors are both brilliant and chosen by Nolan who could have cast any actor he wanted for these parts.

      • ‘Brilliant’ is a terrible description for either of these actors. Especially in the stellar/context of this film. I want to vomit when McConaughey talks with that stupid accent. CREDIT THE WRITERS for his roles & don’t believe the hype Lucy, he’s as talented as that dickless Justin Timberlake

  7. Nolan evokes drama, wonder and awe. The thing movies can do best.

  8. Jen says:

I cannot wait for this. This is a film that we need right now. Hopefully it can inspire us to look beyond our earthly constructs and realize (what we did in the 60’s mind you) that our destiny lies among the stars, the farthest star. Possibly even beyond that. Otherwise we are going to go extinct on this rock.

  9. Joyce Tyler says:

The importance of the roles of the two female co-stars is being kept a big secret, right?
