Watch: Clint Eastwood’s ‘Jersey Boys’ Gets First Trailer

“If that’s what you think, then you’re not from Jersey.”

The trailer for Clint Eastwood’s new pic, “Jersey Boys,” begins by saying the movement started with a sound, but Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons have a lot more going for them than just a sound. With mobsters, songs and attractive women, the musical-turned-movie looks like it will be more than just song and dance.

With the discovery of Valli and his unusual sound, the boys skyrocket to success, but not without drama. Characters will explain the story of the Four Seasons, before and after Valli’s initiation.

“Jersey Boys” bows June 20.

  1. Ron Gartner says:

Looking forward to seeing the movie with the former 1970’s Four Seasons Gerry Polci and Lee Shapiro of The Hit Men http://www.thehitmenlive.com

  2. Mayorghouliani says:

It looks awful. Not sure how this became a Broadway success because the vocals are just incredibly bad. The lead vocalist is worse than Franki Valli, this will be a box office flop

  3. ThomT says:

Wasn’t sure that Eastwood was the right director but the preview looks terrific. They opened up the show (which I seen a dozen times) but in this case (unlike the damage done to “A Chorus Line”) it looks like it was an improvement on an already strong production.

  4. Elena Rendine says:

My husband saw the B’way show. It’s cool to know that our town is mentioned because Bob Gaudio was from here!

  5. Tim says:

Damn. My 78 year old grandma just climaxed.

  6. AL Pucino says:

Wow, looks fantastic. My wife and I have seen Jersey Boys 15 times! Can’t wait for the movie to open.

  7. A. Meiswinkel says:

loved the play on B’way and if Eastwood’s doing the movie, I’m sure it will be just as good. Looking forward to it

  9. Robert Derringer says:

looks great – who’d a thunk Clint could/would take on a musical — still the coolest star in this solar system

  10. Well made looking film andclever story, but not sure I could get past those awful singing voices. Eastwood is obviously a film maker but not a musician/ arranger.

  11. Caitlin Chancellor says:

Very impressive…huge Eastwood fan and this looks like a standout for him…cannot wait for it to hit the cinemas..!!

  12. Marion says:
