Paramount has released the first trailer for Jason Reitman’s drama-comedy “Men, Women & Children” ahead of its premiere at the Toronto Intl. Film Festival next month.

The film stars Adam Sandler, Rosemarie DeWitt, Emma Thompson, Jennifer Garner, Kaitlyn Dever, Ansel Elgort (“The Fault In Our Stars”), Dean Norris (“Breaking Bad”), J.K. Simmons and Dennis Haysbert.

The trailer contains no dialogue, only text messages, to convey the film’s focus on how the internet has changed the way that parents and teenagers interact.

Reitman’s directing credits include “Up in the Air,” “Labor Day,” “Young Adult” and “Juno.” He co-wrote the script with Erin Cressida Wilson, based on a novel of same name by Chad Kultgen. “Men, Women & Children” is scheduled to be screened in the Special Presentations section at TIFF.

Paramount is expected to release the film by the end of the year.
