Toronto: France’s ARP Pays ‘Price’ for Malfeasance Documentary

The Price We Pay Review

TORONTO – Boutique French distributor ARP has picked up rights to Toronto documentary “The Price We Pay,” directed by Harold Crooks.

The Canadian-produced film is an expose of tax avoidance by major corporations through use of offshore havens. It also accuses new technology giants Google, Amazon and others of eroding the foundations of the democratic state.

“Harold Crooks’ documentary is a deeply important and essential film that is timely. We see it as urgent viewing for audiences all around the world,” said Michele Halberstadt, co-chief of ARP, in a statement.
