Tom Hiddleston is in full-on preparation mode for his upcoming role as Hank Williams. The “Thor” actor crashed the stage at this weekend’s Wheatland Music Festival in Michigan to perform the legendary musician’s tune “Move It On Over.”

He also returned to the stage on Sunday to join Rodney Crowell for a performance of Williams’ “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry.”

Hiddleston is set to play Williams in the upcoming biopic “I Saw the Light,” chronicling the singer’s rise to fame and its effect on his personal life and health.  Williams suffered from spina bifida and died at the age of 29 of heart failure after a struggle with alcoholism and addiction to prescription medication.

The pic is set to begin filming next month in Louisiana, and from the looks of it, Hiddleston is ready to stretch both his acting and singing muscles.
