Tom Cruise’s ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ Gets New Trailer (VIDEO)

Warner Bros. has released the second trailer for Tom Cruise’s “Edge of Tomorrow,” which finds his soldier character stuck in a time loop.

“How many times have we been here?” asks Emily Blunt’s instructor character. “For me, it’s been an eternity,” Cruise replies.

The studio unveiled a 20-second preview on Monday for Doug Liman’s sci-fi actioner. Cruise’s character dies in battle against alien forces, but wakes up alive only to re-live the same fateful day over and over again — hoping to gain experience as a fighter to break the time loop.

The movie, adapted from Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s novel “All You Need Is Kill,” is set for release on June 6. It also stars Bill Paxton, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Charlotte Riley and Jeremy Piven.

It’s deja-vu all over again. Again.
    And it’s contagious!

  2. With all due respects to Warners and Village Road Show, I don’t do windows or time loop films! Ground Hog Day was more than enough for one incarnation. I moved to Vegas and kept having flashbacks of the film. That awful joke, “I got the VCR of Ground Hog Day and it kept repeating and repeating! I had to hump on the cassette to get it to stop!”
