LONDON — Sundance London film and music festival has added Charlie McDowell’s “The One I Love” to its program. It will be the pic’s international premiere.
The film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, stars Mark Duplass, Elisabeth Moss and Ted Danson. It centers on Ethan and Sophie, who are on the brink of separation. They escape to a beautiful vacation house for a weekend getaway in an attempt to save their marriage. What begins as a romantic and fun retreat soon becomes surreal, when an unexpected discovery forces them to examine themselves, their relationship and their future.
With the addition of “The One I Love,” Sundance London will include 22 feature films. Other selected pics include Ryan Coogler’s “Fruitvale Station,” Jeremy Saulnier’s “Blue Ruin,” Lenny Abrahamson’s “Frank,” David Cross’ “Hits,” David Wain’s “They Came Together,” Marjane Satrapi’s “The Voices” and Michael Winterbottom’s “The Trip to Italy.”
Sundance London runs April 25-27.
