Sony Pictures and New Regency have slated Cameron Crowe’s untitled pic for Dec. 25.
The film stars Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams with Crowe writing and directing.
Set in Hawaii, the story follows a a celebrated military contractor who returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs and re-connects with a long-ago love while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog assigned to him.
Crowe is producing with Scott Rudin.
Crowe’s film will be squaring off with a handful of films on Christmas this year which include Disney’s “Into the Woods” and Universal’s “Unbroken.”
