‘Ride Along 2’ to Bow on Martin Luther King Weekend 2016

Universal is banking on the success it had when it opened “Ride Along” this past Martin Luther King weekend and has set the sequel’s date for that holiday weekend in 2016.

Set to bow Jan. 15, 2016, the film has Ice Cube and Kevin Hart set to return and Tim Story on board to direct.

Will Packer will producer.

“Ride Along” has grossed $130 million at the domestic box office.

    Ride Along was awesome and hilarious. I’m definetely looking forward to the sequel in early 2016. The critics can say whatever they want, but I really like the movie. Seen it 3 times in theaters.
