The event will put 10 producers selected from European Film Promotion’s Producers On The Move program together with 10 aspiring producers from Hamburg “to combine creative, technical and financial energy for international co-productions,” EFP said.
The event has been created by EFP and the Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein in collaboration with the Creative Europe Desk Hamburg, and is also supported by Hamburg Marketing, the Commerzbank Hamburg Medien, Filmfest Hamburg, Unverzagt von Have and C-Films.
During two days of seminars, pitching sessions, one-to-one meetings and a Hamburg location tour, the 20 producers will have the opportunity to exchange know-how and discuss ideas for co-productions. All of the participants have a track record of successful project development and production.
“We are delighted by the great response from the former Producers On The Move participants,” Renate Rose, managing director of EFP, said.
“The same applies to our home town of Hamburg where many production companies have expressed an enormous interest in our networking platform and international co-production.”
