New ‘Sex Tape’ Trailer Promises Promiscuity and Laughter (VIDEO)

If there’s one lesson to be taken from the new “Sex Tape” red band trailer, it’s that technology is never to be trusted.

In an attempt to rekindle the spark in their relationship, Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz’s characters decide to make a — you know — sex tape. But instead of deleting it, the video accidentally gets uploaded to the “cloud” — the mysterious place where people send files to share among friends, family or whomever — that is also synced to the many iPads the pair gave out as presents.

What ensues is a hilarious mission to steal back the iPads from their bosses, mothers, friends and even the mail carrier so that no one can see their private video.

“Sex Tape” bows July 25.

  1. Dinzel Washington Jr. says:

None of these people look like Denzel Washington! Just some cheap.. nitty and Jay’Son SeeGall, along with Cameron Die-As! Jush moore cheap trills, and smelly dialogue!

  2. Andrew Stubinski says:

Does the writer/editor for this article understand the meaning of the word “promiscuity?” Generally, it’s accepted that it means one has multiple sexual partners. What about that trailer leads you to think that either Cameron Diaz or Jason Segel have multiple sexual partners. They seem pretty committed to each other so far as I can tell.

Come on, Variety. I appreciate your attempt to use “big words,” but please use them correctly. I suppose you should get at least a passing grade for spelling the word right.

Dare you to post this comment, by the way.
