Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company have set Feb. 20 as the U.S. release date for Natalie Portman’s indie Western “Jane Got a Gun.”

It’s the first title to land on the date.

“Jane” had originally been dated for Aug. 29, but was pulled from that date two weeks ago when Relativity decided to slot Pierce Brosnan’s “November Man” for Aug. 27.

Portman stars a woman who asks an ex-lover, portrayed by Joel Edgerton, for help to save her outlaw husband from a gang out to kill him. Noah Emmerich plays the husband and Ewan McGregor portrays the gang leader.

Relativity and TWC acquired “Jane” last year at Cannes. Gavin O’Connor directed, replacing Lynne Ramsay as director just before shooting was to start in New Mexico.
