LONDON — Producer Daniel Emmerson has joined Michael Fassbender and Conor McCaughan’s London-based production company DMC Film, as it continues to grow.

DMC produced John Maclean’s “Pitch Black Heist,” which won the BAFTA for short film in 2012, and is in post-production on his debut feature “Slow West,” which stars Michael Fassbender and is backed by Film4, in co-production with See Saw Films.

Other projects include “Assassin’s Creed” with Ubisoft and New Regency due to start shooting in 2015, and the BBC Films backed “Garagistas,” written by James Graham.

Emmerson brings with him a slate of projects and relationships with emerging talent including “Fagin’s Kitchen,” which is being co-developed with Film4, and will be directed by Kibwe Tavares and written by Daniel Kaluuya.
