Matthew Weiner’s ‘You Are Here’ Targets Late Summer Release By Millennium Entertainment

'You Are Here' Review

Millennium Entertainment is closing in on a deal for domestic distribution rights to Matthew Weiner’s feature dramedy “You Are Here,” targeting a theatrical and VOD release for late summer.

Deal has been in the works for a while and the sides are still hashing out the target release date, expected to be late August. Millennium will give the pic, starring Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis and Amy Poehler, a simultaneous debut in theaters and on VOD. Lionsgate is handling international rights.

“You Are Here,” written and directed by the “Mad Men” creator, drew mixed reviews in its premiere last September at the Toronto film fest. Pic revolves around a womanizing weatherman (Wilson) who takes a road trip to a friend’s (Galifianakis) childhood home after the friend’s father dies.
