The men of “Entourage” will publicly reunite for the first time since the series ended when they present Mark Wahlberg, the HBO show’s muse and one of its executive producers, with the Generation Award at this year’s MTV Movie Awards.

The on-stage appearance comes ahead of the highly anticipated “Entourage” movie, slated for summer 2015.

“Mark Wahlberg is the definition of a modern-day Renaissance Man: from ‘Dirk Diggler’ to ‘The Departed,’ ‘The Basketball Diaries’ to ‘Ted,’ ‘Entourage’ to ‘The Fighter,’ in front of the camera and behind – he’s done it all and he’s always memorable,” said Stephen Friedman, president of MTV, in a statement. “Mark has captivated the MTV audience for over 20 years, and for this rare feat, we’re proud to recognize him with this year’s Generation Award.”

The award is said to be MTV’s highest honor. Past recipients include Jamie Foxx, Johnny Depp, Reese Witherspoon, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Sandra Bullock, Mike Myers, Tom Cruise and Jim Carrey.

The MTV Movie Awards will air live from Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre at 9 p.m.  April 13.
