Reagan’s story is told through the eyes of veteran KGB agent Viktor Petrovich, a composite character of KGB agents who closely followed Reagan since his days in Hollywood.
The script was penned by Howard Klausner (“Space Cowboys”) based on two New York Times bestselling books by author Paul Kengor, “God and Ronald Reagan: A Spiritual Life,” and “The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism.”
The pic is produced by Mark Joseph (“Max Rose”) and Ralph Winter (“X-Men”).
It will be released in the U.S. on 3,000 screens with a $35 million P&A budget.
“I’ve been very pleased to see the script develop in a manner that is faithful to my books and ultimately to history,” Kengor said.

Manifest Film Sales is a subsidiary of Intandem Films, which is headed by CEO Robert Mitchell, whose previous roles have included managing director at Walt Disney U.K.
