Liz Tuccillo’s SXSW Comedy ‘Take Care’ Gets Distribution

Take Care Movie Distribution

Entertainment One Films has announced that it’s acquired North American distribution rights to romantic comedy “Take Care” for release in late 2014.

“Take Care,” which premiered at South by Southwest, stars Leslie Bibb and Thomas Sadoski and is directed, written and produced by Liz Tuccillo.

Marin Ireland, Betty Gilpin, Nadia Dajani, Michael Stahl-David and Tracee Chimo also star.

Bibb portrays a character immobilized by a car crash who’s brushed off by everyone she can count on. She persuades her ex-boyfriend (Sadoski) to take care of her, much to the chagrin of his current girlfriend (Gilpin).

It’s the directorial debut for Tuccillo, who co-wrote the bestseller “He’s Just Not That Into You” and wrote on HBO’s “Sex and the City.”

eOne Films’ upcoming slate of U.S. films includes “Two Night Stand,” starring Miles Teller and Analeigh Tipton; the Ryan Phillippe thriller “Catch Hell” and the dark comedy “Miss Meadows,” starring Katie Holmes.
