Amplify has acquired all U.S. rights to the Rust Belt drama “Little Accidents” three months after its premiere at Sundance.
The film, inspired by writer-director Sara Colangelo’s 2010 short of the same name, is the story of a coal town reeling from a recent mining disaster. Boyd Holbrook, Elizabeth Banks, Jacob Lofland, Josh Lucas and Chloe Sevigny star.
Production companies are Maiden Voyage Pictures, Archer Gray Productions, TideRock Media, Soaring Flight Productions, and Mindsmack Productions. The film was produced by Anne Carey, Jason Michael Berman, Thomas B. Fore, and Summer Shelton.
Variety’s Scott Foundas gave “Little Accidents” a mixed review, pointing to a “standout” performance by Holbrook.
Kent Sanderson made the deal on behalf of Amplify with WME on behalf of the filmmakers.
