Warner Bros. has set Liam Neeson’s action-thriller for April 17 — the fifth major release to land on the date.
Neeson stars as an aging hitman forced to take on his former boss to protect his family. Jaume Collet-Serra directs from Brad Ingelsby’s script.
Genesis Rodriguez, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ed Harris, Shawn Maguire, Common, Boyd Holbrook and Holt McCallany also star.
The date will also see the launches Sony’s “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2,” Lionsgate’s Tom Hardy thriller “Child 44,” Focus’ sci-fier “Selfless” and Disney’s “Monkey Kingdom.”
Originally, Warner Bros. had set “Run All Night” for Feb. 6. But the studio announced in June that it had been replaced in that slot with the Wachowskis’ “Jupiter Ascending,” which was delayed from this summer to finish the special effects.
