‘Legend of Korra’ Season 4 to Premiere in October

'Legend of Korra' Season 4 Premiere

“Legend of Korra” fans won’t have to wait very long to get “Balance.”

Just two weeks after the season three finale, Nickelodeon has announced that the “Avatar: The Last Airbender” spinoff will return for season four on Oct. 3, leaving just a few weeks between seasons. The premiere will be available on the date on Nick.com and the Nick.com app, with every episode after that to be hosted at the same place every Friday.

Midway through the last season, “Legend of Korra” moved to Nickelodeon’s website, with the network unable to find a suitable place for the toon in the schedule. Fans were angered by the shakeup, but its creators Bryan Konietzko and Mike DiMartino assured them it wouldn’t be canceled, and the loyal fanbase followed Korra to the web.

Konietzko and DiMartino also revealed in the video announcement that the next season will be called “Balance.”

Fantastic show! Thank you for covering it. Looking forward to the 4th season and hoping for a continuation of the universe on Nick or elsewhere.

This is a worthy SEQUEL, Spinoff doesn’t fit at all as it isn’t about characters from the original show, more what happens to that world decades later.
