“Scandal” actress Kerry Washington is in talks to star in the Warner Bros. thriller “Unforgettable,” sources confirm.
Kate Hudson is also in early talks to co-star in the pic.
The deal is still in the early stages but sources say both sides are determined to get a deal worked out for both actresses.
“Belle” director Amma Asante is set to direct the film, which centers on a man whose new wife (Washington) is menaced by his ex-wife (Hudson).
Warner-based Denise DiNovi is producing with partner Alison Greenspan. Christina Hodson is writing the script for “Unforgettable.”
Andy Fischel and Racheline Benveniste are overseeing the project for WB.
Washington is repped by CAA and Washington Square Films and besides her starring role on her hit TV show “Scandal,” Washington was last seen in “Peeples.”
Hudson can be seen next in “Rock the Kasbah” opposite Bill Murray.
