Oh another film trying for an oscar. Thought it was going to be something entertaining.

  2. Merry says:

I dread the term, “limited release” when I’ve been waiting to see a movie.

Usually means a purchase from Amazon.

    • Les says:

Yeah I agree with Steph, they have it set up as a platform release in prime awards season, which is pretty perfect for an indie film on a controversial topic. The first wide release is set for the day before 12 Years a Slave premiered last year, which shows a vote of confidence in the product. Overall, this is a really good sign for the film.

    • Steph says:

It is also the way they release films when they are confident that word of mouth will build up an audience. Straight to DVD films tend to be released early in the year, Autumn is for award contenders. This is definitely a promising release schedule.

  3. Libra Renner says:

No puedo esperar para ver a Jeremy puesto en escena

  4. jim says:

Yeah, we all know how much the “mainstream media” loves organizations like DoD and the CIA….

  5. Red says:

Landesman (a former journalist) based his script on Gary Webb’s book Dark Alliance and Nick Schou’s book about Gary Webb titled Kill the Messenger. Both books are amazing, incredible but true story of the CIA, the Contras and the power of the mainstream media to assist in covering up the truth. True investigative journalism is a dying art in our society and Gary’s story is one of the reason why – This story needs to be told.

  6. DFox says:

@Jaxx TOO TRUE. I am excited for this movie.

  7. Jaxx says:

Cannot wait for this! Renner is such a talented actor who is way too underused in his films. I’m excited to see what he brings to the table here.

  8. lulu says:

Glad they have released a date for it. Hoping my local cinema will show this awesome movie

  9. Steph says:

    Really looking forward to this.

  10. Lmg05 says:

    Finally! Awesome! Can’t wait!
