Gravitas Ventures has acquired all U.S. rights to the indie comedy “The Longest Week,” starring Jenny Slate, Olivia Wilde, Billy Crudup and Jason Bateman.

It’s the feature directing debut of Peter Glanz and is based on his short film “A Relationship in Four Days,” which was an official selection at Cannes and Sundance.

The film will be released theatrically and on Video on Demand on Sept. 5.

Bateman stars as an heir to a hotel fortune cut off from his allowance following his parents’ abrupt divorce. He’s taken in by his old friend (played by Crudup) and immediately falls for his girlfriend Beatrice, portrayed by Wilde.

YRF Entertainment financed and produced in association with Armian Pictures, Atlantic Pictures, and Far Hills. The producers are Uday Chopra and Neda Armian.
