“Unbroken’s” Jack O’Connell must have made quite an impression on Universal with that just-wrapped biopic, as he is now in negotiations to star in the studio’s  “Section 6.”

Universal recently won a heated bidding war for the Aaron Berg spec that chronicles the origins of MI6, the famous British intelligence agency that was founded during World War I. No director is attached.

Marc Platt will produce alongside Adam Siegel for Marc Platt Productions. Lawrence Grey will produce for Grey Matter Productions.

Universal Pictures executive vice president of production Jon Mone and director of development Sara Scott will oversee the project for the studio.

O’Connell  is repped by CAA.

The Wrap first reported the news.
