Thinkmodo, the marketing shop behind promotional stunts for MGM’s “Carrie” remake and Fox’s “Devil’s Due,” has produced its next thriller for Universal and Hasbro Studios’ “Ouija.”

While visiting a Brooklyn psychic, unsuspecting individuals are given a fright when the medium reads the letters R-U-N and screams the word while her eyes bulge. Seconds letter, a zombie bursts from the floorboards, sending some visitors running from the room.

Thinkmodo records each stunt so that they can be released and shared on YouTube.

One for “Carrie” generated over 59 million views in 2013, followed by a creepy possessed baby scaring people in New York City for “Devil’s Due,” earlier this year, that was viewed over 48 million times, both becoming viral hits.

Universal will release “Ouija” on Oct. 24.

Stiles White helmed the film that stars Daren Kagasoff, Douglas Smith, Olivia Cooke, Ana Coto, Bianca A. Santos, Erin Moriarty and Vivis Colombetti.

Hasbro Studios produced the film, its first horror movie, that’s based on its board game. Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse Prods also are producers on the thriller, along with Media Rights Capital.

    It’s a PG13 movie. What do you expect, all the cast was on point. So happy another low budget movie succeeds.

    When your movie sucks, rely on stunts! I’m sure the upcoming commercials will feature the standard “night vision” footage of dopes in the audience cringing – another sign of a really great film. lol
