Hannah Ware Lands Female Lead in ‘Agent 47,’ Based on ‘Hitman’ Videogame

Hannah Ware is set to play the female lead in the Fox International Productions pic “Agent 47.”

Rupert Friend is set to star and Zachary Quinto is also on board.

Aleksander Bach is directing from a script by Kyle Ward, Skip Woods and Michael Finch.

Though plot details have not been released, the actioner is based on the bestselling video game “Hitman,” which has sold 21 million units to date. The latest and most successful edition, this year’s “Hitman: Absolution,” has sold  10 million units.

Alex Young, Chuck Gordon and Adrian Askarieh are producing; Daniel Alter is executive producer.

Ware was most recently seen in “Oldboy” and can still be seen in ABC’s “Betrayal.” She is repped by Independent Talent Group, WME, Liebman Entertainment and Schreck, Rose, Dapello & Adams.

    was hoping for a better role for her…..she was so good in Betrayal on tv. Wish Stuart Townsend were going to be in the film with her.

    Hitman: Absolution came out in 2012, not 2014. Hate to that guy, but whatever.
